You can use this page to join the Lawyers' Secular Society, start a standing order, make a donation or renew your membership.

- Membership requests are subject to approval by the Committee.
- Privacy policy: your particulars will not be passed on to any third party.
- You must agree to our General Principles when you join.

- Membership is available only if you supply a UK mailing address.
- Current membership fees are £25 standard rate per year and £10 reduced rate per year. Please refer to the Rules of the LSS to see if you qualify for a reduced membership rate.


START A STANDING ORDER
A monthly standing order is the most effective way to donate to the LSS - it allows us to predict how much money we will have available, and also cuts down on administration costs, enabling us to considerably increase our scale of activities.

Payment by Standing Order is a minimum of £5 per month. Any additional contribution is welcomed.

If you would like to join the LSS without completing a standing order, please download and complete the Membership Application Form and and return it with your cheque made out to "Lawyers' Secular Society" to the address below.

The LSS very much appreciates any contributions made by way of standing order mandate that will help cover the administration and running of the society.

Membership of the LSS is open to:

1.    barristers and solicitors in independent practice. 
2.    students, trainee solicitors and pupil barristers. 
3.    Academics. 
4.    The judiciary.
5.    Employed barristers and solicitors employed in house.
6.    Legal Executives.
7.    Paralegals.
